SUMMARY:Granite Lecture and Film Series Presents 8mm Films from the 1960s
DESCRIPTION:The 1960s quickly transformed into the decade of “home movies.” Portability\, ease of use\, and quick development allowed consumers to record anything that interested them. This week\, come see a few films in the museum’s digitized 8mm film collection. Recordings include everyday quarry operations\, like jet channeling and men at work. The museum will also show a movie shot by Rock of Ages employee Lloyd Russell Murray. Questions and discussion to follow. \n
