DESCRIPTION:Chris Miller\, a sculptor working in granite\, wood\, and marble\, was commissioned by the Vermont Academy of Arts & Sciences to create a new monument designed to be the face and presence of the institution. Working on this project in the Vermont Granite Museum workshop\, countless visitors have had the unique opportunity to witness the time and effort exerted at every step in this process.
