DESCRIPTION:Learn more about the many engaging tales Paul Heller shares in his book\, Montpelier’s Green Mount Cemetery:  A History and Guide.  In 1855\, the city of Montpelier dedicated Green Mount Cemetery on forty acres of land purchased by a special board of five commissioners from Isaiah Silver. Heller lays out the history of the cemetery and many of its notable features and memorials in his book\, incorporating a variety of images and GPS coordinates. This week\, Paul Heller will discuss the people\, the monuments\, and the remarkable stories he discovered working on his History and Guide. \n
