In order to cut down on the handling of markers. we have installed a roller or conveyor system. The marker cutters have rollers right at their bankers and when finished with a marker. simply move it out to the “main track”. It is then moved down to the end of the roller system and from there to the boxing area, still on rollers. This has enabled us to avoid a great many “lifts” and made the marker cutters wore efficient — that is, they don’t have to wait for a busy crane in order to start on another marker.
