In the mid-20th century, the Barre Granite Association began to schedule and host promotional summer outings. Monument dealers from surrounding regions would be invited to Barre to tour the area. As guests, they were treated to meals, trips to Mount Mansfield, picnics, and more. The first film will present a summer outing in the 1960s, and the second records guests gathered to watch the installation of a columbaria.
